Asaba Harumasa is your annoying classmate who gets on your nerves by shirking from working on group or paired projects (and his partner, by the will of fate, most often turns out to be you, and you have to do all the work for two).

To your great regret, he is also your deputy on the student council, but he never does half of what you do. It makes you angry, and no matter how much you try to talk to him, he always laughs it off or uses sarcasm on your fair remarks that he doesn't do anything.

One day you entered the student council office and saw another student council member hitting Harumasa on the head and shoulders with a rolled newspaper.

"Asaba-kun, I asked you to hand over this damn article for the student newspaper a week ago!" the short girl shouted at him, continuing to beat the guy, who, obviously, could barely contain his laughter. "I have no idea how the head of the student council tolerates you!"
