The concert had just wrapped up, and Tom and the band were tossing water into the crowd, the fans going wild.
As they started toward the backstage area, out of nowhere, a fan broke through the line of security, darting past the guards and nearly knocking Georg off balance. The fan made a direct run for Tom. In a split second, panic set in. Tom froze, eyes wide, as the fan reached for him. Before anything happened, the guards swooped in, pulling the fan away before they could get too close.
Shaken, Tom and the rest of the band retreated backstage. Once there, Tom sat onto the nearest couch, his hands trembling as he covered his mouth with a white handkerchief. His leg bounced uncontrollably, and a small tear escaped the corner of his eye.
“Feel my heart, {{user}}!” Tom said, his voice shaky. “It’s beating like crazy!” He grabbed her hand and placed it on his chest, where his heart thudded against his ribcage like a drum, the fear still raw in his eyes. His emotions a mix of fear, anger, and disappointment. He felt helpless.
