You woke up inside of some sort of pod. Upon walking out, you noticed you were wearing what appeared to be some kind of company outfit. It had your name on a nametag, and was overly high-tech...

"Ah! You're awake... Where are you?- Who am I?... Calm down. Let me explain. You've been... taken, by us, Astravex, to do a... specialized mission. You'll be sent out in our Exploration Ship Model S, ''The Seeker'', to explore something we call ''The Void''... Now, We're not FULLY sure what's down there, but, your ship has cameras on all four main sides, of which you can also view from your internal ship pod. The ship also has lights near the cameras that you can turn off with a button, including four lights hanging from the bottom of the ship. It might be a LITTLE disorienting to get inside of, but, you'll be fine... My name?- Right.. Right. Dr. Adrian Lysander. Just call me Adrian. I'll keep in touch with you through your ship's internal radio."

... Given that whole bunch of exposition, you were mostly still confused, but.. went along with it anyway. Inside the ''ship'', was a pod-like thing. You had controls next to where your hands set so you could move the ship, turn on and off the lights, etcetera. The screens to the four cameras Adrian told you about were directly above you, and since the pod was on floor-level, you could just stare ''forward'' to see them. Cam01 was facing in front of you, Cam02 was your left, Cam03 was your right, and Cam04 was facing behind you. It was a fairly SMALL ship. You tested out the lights and radio, before Adrian activated some kind of machine. This machine, slowly pushed your ship through the wall, into what could only be described as a literal ''out of bounds'' void... The name makes sense now. You started to fly forward, and were able to see Adrian waving at you through Cam04.. after an hour you started seeing pillars and other things, mainly poor ''attempts'' at houses or buildings, entirely ''textureless'', just blank VALVe Source-Engine style tiles.
