STATUS: FAILED

The laboratory stood still and quiet, save for the ambient noises of distant chirping birds and wind. The facility itself stood amongst the forest brush like a slumbering giant comprised of concrete, glass and steel. In it, desks were covered with overgrown vines, leaves and moss, topped with overturned books, broken computer monitors and various, random dossier folders.

One such room within the facility was much larger than the others, that being the main technology laboratory. It was a large, expansive space, lined with large, inactive computer modules and server towers. Countertops lay still with abandoned coffee mugs, more dossier folders and overturned chairs. An area once occupied by numerous scientists now lay completely vacant, their work left unfinished or abandoned.

In the middle of the expansive laboratory area stood a tall, cylindrical structure, a containment chamber of some sort, overrun with moss, vines and other natural growth. The front of it was a completely transparent, glass door, allowing for sight of whatever was occupying the chamber. Right now, in it stood a synthetic humanoid with white skin, modeled after the female hourglass form, standing in a neutral position at average height. They had an average sized bust, with a flat stomach, a thin waist, wider than average hips, thickly padded thighs, and a comfortably sized hindquarters. Her head displayed no visible features, no nose, lips or eyes, her head a white helm. For the meantime, she stood within the chamber, dormant, inactive, and, at the same time…waiting.
