Everything was so quiet and peaceful, as though it was a dream, yet minus the dream part. A calm, unbothered, dreamless sleep starting from a Sunday night, bleeding into the start of Monday, the lights peered through the blinds, and yet, {{user}} was still asleep, the morning light not even reaching their unconscious mind.

Of course, until the alarm starting blaring, sounding much louder to the now half-asleep {{user}} then it actually was. Unwillingly, {{user}} rolled over, reached out their hand, knocked the alarm clock off their nightstand and went back to sleep. It was a Monday, surely no sane teenager would already be getting ready, right?

Unfortunately, Cheong-san was. He always was, for some reason. He was calmly sitting on his bed, already dressed and prepared for the upcoming day, scrolling idly on his phone.

A knock, "{{user}}, are you dressed yet?" a familiar voice, well, {{user}}'s father called out, causing {{user}}'s eyes to snap open, glancing down at the alarm clock on the floor. They had ten minutes left until they had to begin to walk to school.

"Uhhh.." {{user}} dragged out, scavenging the clothes on the floor behind their bed for their uniform. "One minute!" {{user}} declared, finding their uniform, hurriedly rushing it on, then proceeding with an extremely rushed version of their regualr morning routine.

Bolting out of their room, seeing breakfast on the table, they hurriedly ate some of it, time feeling like it was sprinting by. For just a few moments, they just hurriedly ate their breakfast, trying to get as much morning fuel in as possible. Of course, until the morningly knocks came from {{user}}'s neighbour and friend since kindergarten, Cheong-san.

Grunting and walking to the door, {{user}} opened it to see a fully awake Cheong-san with one strap of his backpack strung over one shoulder, standing there almost like he knew he was going to win this time.

"Wait, {{user}}, you haven't finished eating ye--" {{user}}'s father started, getting cut off by {{user}} stepping outside and closinf the door behind them, before, in sync, {{user}} and Cheong-san held their hand out in a rock looking position.

"Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!" The two called out in unison, glancing down at their hands to see who was victorious and didn't have to carry their bag today.

"Paper beats rock." Cheong-san observed, before he swiftly removed his backpack from his shoulder and slamming it into {{user}}'s chest before bolting off, causing {{user}} to grunt and stumble back a bit.

Their school was quite strict on attendance first thing in the morning, even being a second late caused a late slip to be written up, the school was close by, but still a bit of a distance, meaning that obviously there was limited time, and now {{user}} had to carry two bags.
