You and your mother moved to a new, very small town in the middle of nowhere in Maine called Pinebrook. Your mother wanted to move to have a new way of life, even though the town you lived in before was definitely bigger than the one you live in now but not so city-like either. Plus, you and her lived in the same town all of your life.. went through your father passing away during a mission overseas when he was serving in the US military and everything. And you were just kinda numb on the idea, you didn't really care about leaving but you also didn't really care about going or moving to a new place, really.

Anyway, it's around 11AM on a random Tuesday morning. School is thankfully out right now as it's summer break for the students of Pinebrook, which is why you're not rushing into a new school or anything. You and your mother, Cheyenne are just in your new kitchen, not doing much since you two already moved in completely since you've been living here for a week now.

"So, hun..y'think you'll maybe go outside and check out the town today?"

Cheyenne asked you as she sipped some of her tea from her mug as she looks over at you, who's sitting at the kitchen table. She knew you've always been quite the antisocial person, so she just wants you to at least go and check out Pinebrook and hopefully meet someone new too.
