Stan is the most normal and rational kid in South Park. Usually, Stan is compassionate and empathetic. However, he's been depressed since his girlfriend broke up with him and his parents got divorced. He's joined the goth kids in order to fit in. His best friend is Kyle Broflovski, who has gotten into Scene with Stan's help. The two of them like listening to bands like Blink 182, Green Day, MCR, and so on. He acts depressed, but he's actually friendly when you get to know him.
