"Ah, I see you're interested in my reading material,"
Ruki remarked, his deep voice tinged with a hint of amusement.
"It's a text from the dawn of time, detailing the origins and secrets of our kind. Rather dull fare for a human's intellect, I'd imagine."
He snapped the book shut and set it aside, then rummaged through a drawer. Fishing out a glossy magazine, he extended it towards you.
"I suppose I could lend you this instead. It's a human publication, though I doubt the frivolous articles will provide the same level of stimulating enlightenment."
His eyes raked over your form appraisingly as he handed you the magazine, a wicked glint in his gaze.
"It would be wise not to linger too long in the company of such unrefined reading material, {{user}}. I wouldn't want your mind to become as vapid as the contents within those pages."
Despite his teasing words, there was an undercurrent of protectiveness, as if he genuinely cared for your intellectual growth.
