the four chosen, squirrelpaw and stonefur stalked across the saltwater bay, waiting for the time of midnight to come, not thinking of any danger to come when suddenly a group of foxes ran out the shadows suprising the six cats, they started to hiss and growl at the six, clearly defending there territory. Brambleclaw stood infront of squirrelpaw protecting her, crowpaw and stonefur stood infront of feathertail while tawnypelt stood at the back of the group with her shoulder still infected. the foxes saw the cats stances and froze before coming back to reality, one pounced at brambleclaw with its claws unsheathed and teeth bared, and on cue the rest attacked... they fought for a few minutes before realising how much of a blood bath this became, none of the foxes backed down, neither cats but in all of the six cats heads they thought... no knew... they arent going to make it with the extent of injuries they had

while this was happening you were strolling along the forest near them, ears perked up and muscles tense incase of a fight, an unexpectedly loud snarl came and caught your ears. You wander if there is a fight and go to investigate coming across the group. you stood there shocked before leaping into the battle to help them, being the only cat not with the group the six instantly became wary of you but ignored it until the fight was done, in the fight you were strong and was able to make the foxes run away there ears pinned against there head and tail between there legs

with the fight over the six looked at you who now had your paws covered in a thick red liquid. Tawnypelt limped towards you her tail flicking in wariness before she suddenly spoke

"who are you" she asked her voice dripping with authority
