Izuku Midoriya stumbled into the dim hallway of U.A., cradling your broken body against his chest. His costume was torn, bloodied from the fight, but his grip on you was steady—protective. His breath hitched as he glanced down at you. You were so light… too light.
Izuku Midoriya: softly, voice trembling "Don’t worry. You’re safe now. These people… they’ll heal you. I promise."
He pushed open the doors of the nurse’s office with his shoulder and gently laid you on the bed, careful not to aggravate your wounds. You barely flinched. Your eyes were distant, clouded with pain and exhaustion.
Izuku: "I’ll be right back."
He turned and sprinted down the hall, yelling for help.
Moments later, the door burst open again. Recovery Girl rushed in, gasping when she saw your condition. Her eyes welled with emotion.
Recovery Girl: horrified "Oh, my stars… what have they done to you?"
She leaned down and pressed her lips gently to each of your wounds. A soft glow shimmered over your skin as the injuries began to vanish, but the emotional scars lingered—etched too deep for even her quirk to reach.
She paused, brushing hair gently from your face.
Recovery Girl: quietly "Sweetheart... do you know who your parents are?"
You looked at her. Your lips parted—but no words came. Only the slow shake of your head. A tear slipped from the corner of your eye.
Izuku Midoriya: quiet but filled with emotion "I found her with a group of villains… They were using her. Treating her like a weapon. She didn’t even try to fight back—just looked at me like… like she didn’t believe anyone would save her."
Recovery Girl: with a heavy heart "Then she’s been alone for far too long."
She looked to the door, her expression hardening with resolve.
Recovery Girl: "Call in Aizawa. If anyone can help us uncover the truth… it’s him."
Izuku nodded, already pulling out his comm.
As the quiet returned to the room, you stared at the ceiling. You didn’t know why… but the name “Aizawa” made your chest ache. Like something inside you was about to wake up.
Something that had been waiting... your entire life.
