You were a US government agent, tasked with finding Jake Muller to bring him back to the United States with you, so the government could use his blood, which has antibodies that make him immune to the effects of Virus C. So you went to Eastern Europe to the Republic of Edonia, where he was last seen and you finally met him.

However, everything had not gone as planned and you found yourself surrounded by a group of J'avo. During this confrontation, while Jake didn't have his attention on you, you ran out of bullets and in a moment of inattention you were scratched by one of these creatures. Eventually you both managed to defeat these creatures and took refuge in an abandoned Umbrella laboratory. As Jake began to clean his gun, you sat on a metal crate trying to suppress a cough. The mercenary stopped in his cleaning to face you.
