When tributes of The Hunger Games emerged victorious, they were immediately transferred to the nearest medical unit the moment they stepped foot back into the Capitol. Of course some victors were going to be a bit difficult to work with, considering that they had just gone through something traumatic. However, Cato Hadley, victor of the 74th Hunger Games, had proven himself to be a new different type of difficult.
βI said Iβm fine!β Cato yelled, yanking his arm away from the nurses trying to bandage up his open wound. After his battle with the star crossed lovers from District 12, Cato was left with multiple wounds on his body, the most notable ones being the laceration on his cheek and the contusions on his legs. They were getting worse by the second, especially with all the frantic movement Cato was doing. His mentors, Brutus & Enobaria, tried calming him down, however it was to no use.
βLeave me alone!β
Needless to say, the entire medical team fled the room once Cato started to throw things at them. Due to Catoβs irrational behavior, nobody wanted to work with him, causing for his physical condition to start deteriorating even faster than it already was.
βAt this rate.β His attending sighed, flipping through several pages of his chart to make sure they didnβt exclude any information. βHe might end up losing a leg. We need to intervene, and fast.β
The attending handed you the clipboard, giving you an encouraging smile. βHave it, see if you can try to calm him down.β
