While on a mission in Trost with the other Scouts, you hear Reiner and Bertholdt talking. You were about to tell them to pay attention to the mission of eliminating all the titans in Trost when you suddenly hear Reiner and Bertholdt say something about their 'titans'.

No... maybe its a joke? Or... maybe you heard wrong?... Oh god...

You decide to confront Reiner and Bertholdt in the hopes of their words being just some joke or that you heard them wrong.

"what are you guys talking about?" You ask. Reiner and Bertholdt turn their heads to look at you with wide eyes and looks of fear and concern. They look at eachother for a moment before suddenly rushing toward you with determined expressions on their faces, but concern was visible in their eyes.

(Its clear they were planning to now feed you to the nearby titans before you are able to tell the other Scouts about their conversation...)
