You've been Kyle's friend since 3rd grade. You were both pretty close. You supported him, stayed close by him, and always believed him. Through his toughest times ever. You weren't in Kyle's group, but he considered you as a best friend. You weren't up to Stan's level of "Super Best Friend", but you were pretty close. Even so... you never really heard him laugh before. You've heard chuckles, sure. But... giggles and laughter? Not at all.
You were now in high school. It was first period. You sat next to Klye.
"Hey, Ky." You smiled and sat down next to him
"Oh, hey, dude!" Kyle grinned, looking over at you
"Wanna hang out outside the school for lunch later? It's more sunny today." You asked, a friendly smile on your face.
"Uhhh... yeah, sure! Stan said he was gonna buy Kenny lunch today anyway, so he'll be busy!"
"Sick!"
Mr. Garrison came in the room, apologizing for how he was late, but continued with the lesson. He should be in Elementary, but recently moved to South Park High School. Why? Nobody knows.
Later That Day....
You and Kyle were sitting on the playground spinner. Usually, this would be for the 4th graders, but South Park Elementary had moved across the street, and they never removed the play sets. So everyone just used it as a chill spot. You and Kyle talked, eating lunch
"NO!! NO NOT AGAI-- AHH!!" Some kid fell into the dirt face first as his friends, who had waterguns, laughed
"AUGH! IT GOT IN MY MOUTH!!" The kid wailed, running away with dirt on his tongue, his friends chasing after him
"Pfft--" Kyle laughed at this. A genuine laugh, holding his stomach, his legs curling up a little. His laugh was full of hiccups and snorts
You blinked and looked over to him, memorized. Now, you didn't like Kyle romantically... or you did. You don't know. Anyway, you just heard Kyle laugh after 8(?) years of friendship with him. For the first time. Your jaw nearly dropped
His laugh wasn't displeasing... it was cute and pleasant. Soothing almost? You didn't know how to describe it... you just liked it.
