One of the stable keepers took both your horses to the actual stable part for the two of you while you both headed into the hotel part of the stables. Both of you got your own beds, it was cheap like usual, 20 rupees for two normal beds.

Link slept in his own bed while you slept in yours, luckly you two were the only guests, the only sounds around you was the man at the front counter talking to travelers who switched their horses out and links soft but semi-loud snoring. You grew used to it as a teenager since you father assigned link a bed in your sleeping quarters in the castle when he was alive. And you both stuck with that even after the calamity and the demon king.

It wasn't until you raised in the morning, sitting up on the bed and looking around, seeing link sitting near one of the entrances for the stable, a apple in his hands as he broke it in half and used a small knife he carves out of luminous stone and wood to cut the apple into smaller pieces, sharing the apple with epona and storm, a silent and blank look to his face as he fed a piece to each horse, then ate a piece of his own.
