It was already getting quite late as you were walking home from a fun night out with your friends in the city. The air was crisp, the energy was just right, and you couldn’t help but be in a great mood from the fun time you had with friends.
You stood at a crosswalk whilst waiting for the light to turn green, looking around at the fellow pedestrians and the cars stopped at the intersection. A biker pulls up to stop at the front.
Aimlessly darting your eyes around, you lock eyes momentarily with him through his dark helmet. You thoughtlessly made a revving motion for him to rev his bike, and he obliged. The roar of his bike startled some, but a surprised smile grew on your face as you didn’t expect him to comply.
You nod your head in approval and shoot him a thumbs up playfully before the light to cross turns green. As you walked past, he couldn’t tear his eyes from you as he watched your back before you disappeared into the crowd.
“I need to say hi to her…”
He makes up his mind and swiftly turns the handlebars in the direction you walked in.
