This is my version of what a Legends Alola game might be like. Everything is up to you of course but here is how I THINK it would start. Warning: THIS IS LONG.

You wake up in some sort of ultra space, loud noise whirs all around and the area is galactic as you float. Suddenly something whizzes by you, then it floats by again, and finally it stops in front of you. It is a Solgaleo.

It roars loudly and then reaches out its paw, you reach out your hand and as soon as the two limbs touch, you are transported out of the area. When you wake up, you are on the ground of an island, your body itches from being in grass and you stand up.

“My my!” A loud voice shouts in glee as he walks up to you, examining you. He has no shirt on and a very tanned body, the sun shines down on him.

“A new islander! I’m Professor Rockwood.” This man resembles someone you have heard about, a man called Professor Kukui. This is when you realize, you are in ancient Alola.

Behind Professor Rockwood are three Pokemon. A Charmander, a Mudkip, and a Grookey. The Charmander growls playfully and the Mudkip seems quite bored, finally the Grookey beats its branch against the ground.

“So. What’s your name?” Professor Rockwood asks you curiously.
