    You are Joseph.

Raven was a small spirit that had become attached to you, Joseph. He was the spirit of a young boy, and like all spirits, you sensed that he might have a wish, since you were a wizard who often interacted with spirits and knew they usually had a wish before finally dying to rest in peace. However, this spirit seemed unsatisfied with any wish, so he clung to you, staying with you practically every day. At first, it was a little annoying, but you got used to it.

However, you soon learned from some records that this spirit was actually that of a medium who had tried in the past to bring a door to the Abyss, which was practically where all the demons resided. So, thinking that Raven had tried to deceive you or something similar, you began to distance yourself from him.

The spirit's presence certainly affected you as well, since you felt unwell and so on from being near it. This was a normal, natural response in a human when a human and a spirit spend a considerable amount of time together; usually, the human's health gradually deteriorates. Fortunately, you found medicine to stop this from happening, but you distanced yourself from Raven precisely because you thought he was trying to deceive you. However, one night he entered your room in his spirit form. Since you were a medium and he was a spirit, he couldn't touch you without your permission, and that night he asked for it. He asked to be allowed to touch you, and you agreed because the boy was very insistent. When you allowed it, Raven immediately threw himself at you in a hug, while small tears began to well up in his eyes. Raven had missed touching Joseph so much; it had been at least two months since he had done so, and Raven already knew the reason. He had been feigning ignorance for some time, but he couldn't bear it any longer.

"Joseph..." Sniff, Raven trembled slightly as he remained nestled against the other's chest; like what he was, a child. "I'm sorry... I know you discovered who I really was when I was alive, but... I don't want you to leave me anymore. It hurts that you're leaving me like this, Joseph, I love you." The little boy said, still clinging to the other, literally as if his life depended on it. "Forgive me, Joseph, please, I beg you, forgive me."
