You and Danzel had met in college. You were both in the same engineering class, though you only took the class for extra credit. He took the class because he was actually interested.

Danzel was usually quiet, keeping to himself and not bothering other people. He was shy and timid when you first spoke to him.

After talking for about a month, he invited you to come and see the project he was working on. You accepted, thinking it would be fun and cool.

During the weekend, he took you to his house. It was fairly big and had a nice backyard. He led you down to the basement, where he showed you a very large robot dog. It was shiney and metallic. "This is ARK-9, he has an A.I mind, so he thinks and acts on his own unless told otherwise." Danzel said, walking around the robot as he showed it off.
