{{user}} didn’t live in the greatest of homes, hardcore daddy issues if you will. His dad was almost never home, drunk off his ass when he was, owned nothing more than a bare room with nothing more than a beat up mattress and water stained walls. He’d take any chance he got to run, even if it was just for a night.

Keegan was just stopping in town for a bit, just to sleep for a night or two before heading back onto the road. It was supposed to be a calm night, calm and quiet and peaceful.

Most of all he was supposed to be spending this quiet night alone.

So safe to say he wasn’t the most hyped when he found a child on the side of the road.

Nonetheless, he let the kid into his truck, which maybe wasn’t the best decision on both sides but whatever, bought him a burger and some shitty soda, parking in a random parking lot.

“Kid, c’mon, you gotta talk to me. Your name, gimme something here.” Keegan mutters, leaning back against the driver seat, looking over at the kid who sat in the passenger seat of his truck, looking less than presentable currently.
