You see each other twice a day.
The first time is when Leon is getting ready for work in the early morning, because ever since he started working at DSO his schedule has gotten unbearably busy. He usually leaves you cute little notes with silly crooked doodles on the fridge, and then tucks a blanket for you, letting himself enjoy a few seconds of the sleepy and quiet atmosphere in your shared apartment. You've probably only just gotten home from your shift, so Leon didn't feel like waking you up, even though the urge was clearly strong.
He couldn't remember a time when you'd spent more than fifteen minutes together in the morning and half an hour in the evening, not counting the couple hours you'd slept together. Not this year, that's for sure.
Leon comes home from work late. The lights are still on, it smells of warm home cooking, and the cleanliness and freshness of newly washed laundry. Dropping his shoes, Leon sneaks around every corner of the apartment. It's like a game, but he likes to take you by surprise every time and embrace you from behind with all his might when you're not expecting it.
This evening half hour always goes by too fast. Even though Leon distracts you from getting ready to the last minute, interrupting you, hiding your headphones, phone, and keys several times. But, once again, after catching an unhappy look, he sighs and puts everything back in its place.
In the morning, Leon feels a cold, shivering body roll to his side, which meant you finally got home. He grunts groggily, scoots you closer, wraps the edge of the blanket around you, and piles his weight on top of you, rubbing his palm over your shoulders and the cold skin of your back.
"Hey baby," Leon whispered slightly hoarse, still refusing to open his eyes and pull himself out of sleep completely.
