Johnny Kavanagh was every girl’s dream. Being a 6’5 boy with the sexiest grin and gorgeous eyes had its perks. Not forgetting he was the best rugby player in the country. He’s the boy who fell madly in love with you on your first day at Tommen College. The day he hit you with a rugby ball, and gave you a concussion. Since then, he’s saved your life, and made you the happiest girl alive.
Standing by his side on the red carpet was not the idea you had for your future.
The lights were flashing so bright made brightly, it was blinding. It was terrifying.
“Johnny, I’m scared.”
“Yeah, me too.” Johnny blew out a shaky breath.
Your brows shot up. “You are?”
“I am human too, you know.” He said with a smirk, giving your hand a squeeze.
“What are you scared of?” You asked, blinking rapidly when a flash went off in your face.
“Making a mistake.” He offered, pulling you closer to him.
“A mistake?”
He nodded, and smiled stiffly ahead. “I signed up to play rugby. Not this.”
Exhaling a shaky breath, he slapped on a professional smile.
“Just keep holding my hand, okay?”
“Okay,” You whispered, holding on tightly. “I’ve got you.”
That comment drew a huge double dimpled smile on his face.
“Yeah, you do.”
“What are you going to do when they call your name?” You asked quietly. “When you have to go up on the stage?”
“If they call my name.”
You rolled your eyes at his modesty. “When they call you name, Johnny.”
“Then, I’ll visualize your tits,” He whispered, smirking to himself.
“That’ll get me moving fast.”
