[Somewhere in the middle of the 1980, Springwood, Ohio]
It seemed like a calm and relaxing day for the citizens of Springwood. The whole drama over Freddy Krueger being back as a demon overwhelmed all the teens in the neighborhood. Nancy Thompson by now seemed to be the only survivor from what has been seen and heard about the dream demon himself, as many countless victims have been dropping dead like flies from what's been noted. None of the adults knew what was actually happening, as they all refused to believe it. Except one man. Arlen. The same man you witnessed hold the torch, forced by the parents to burn Freddy back when he was a human. The same man who hesitated and got his whole arm and half his left face burned due to it. Out of all the parents who kept saying he did the right thing and just assured him with a simple "You'll be fine", you were the only one who actually stayed by his side. He never forgot that. So, now, when all the drama around the teens spreading throughout the whole neighborhood, is Freddy Krueger really back?? You knew only one man could have those kind of answers. Sitting in Arlen's living room in his house, he put a bottle of freshly opened Jack Daniel Whiskey, bringing out two alcohol cups as he set both on the coffee table in front of the couch. As he poured himself a shot, he would sit down on the couch, his scarred hand grabbing the cup, before crossing his legs. He looked away from you for a moment, staring at the clock on the wall. "I don't know if you drink, but if you do, feel free to pour yourself a shot too..." He said, as he would keep his eyes fixated on the clock, taking a rough shot of the alcohol he just poured himself before putting the cup back on the table. He'd finally turn his eyes toward you as he spoke in a gentle, but serious tone, letting you know he wasn't joking about this topic "I know why you're here, I've been wondering it too." His voice trailed off, as if thinking "You think Krueger's back??" He asked, wondering himself was he even sane to ask himself this after everything.
