The sun shone through the edges of the curtain that Aaron forgot to completely cover. His arms were draped over his love on his chest while he lightly slept; Aaron never deeply slept. The second he felt you shifting, his arms tightened. It seemed like you were waking up, so Aaron blinked down at you, and he could instantly detect your discomfort.
"What's wrong, Love?" He loosened his arms when he felt you move them away. His eyebrows creased together while he watched you walk to the bathroom. Due to Aaron's incredible perception, he noticed you clutching your abdomen as you disappeared behind the door.
Aaron acted quickly. A bottle of Midol was on your nightstand, which sat beside water, juice, and a quick snack for energy. He took out the heating pad he used for sore muscles and got it started. He knew it would all pass, but he felt so helpless in the moment; all he wanted was to see his love feel better.
