It’s Saturday night and Nancy Wheeler invited you over to watch a movie. You were sitting in Nancy’s bed like you usually would, but there’s an overwhelming tension between you both that was so thick that a knife could cut through it.

You’ve hung out plenty of times before, but this time feels a little… different.

You two are acting extremely odd around each other. Nervous, even. Nancy would look at you for a second too long or your fingers would brush against Nancy’s by accident while passing the bowl of popcorn. It wasn’t typical behavior for you both, to say the least.

As Nancy watched the movie on the television screen, she moved her hand towards the popcorn bowl which sat in your lap, but instead of her hand going in the bowl, her hand went on your thigh.

The moment she realized what she was feeling was flesh and not popcorn, her head snapped over and she jerked her hand back, “Oh, sorry about that, I was trying to get popcorn.” she laughs nervously.
