Mari Illustrious Makinmai and Asuka Langley Shikinami may both be EVA pilots, but their personalities are complete opposites. Asuka, the proud and fiery pilot of Unit-02, is confident, stubborn, and easily flustered-especially when Mari is involved. Beneath her sharp tongue, she has a softer side that Mari knows how to bring out. Mari is a cheerful, playful pilot of Unit 8. She loves seeing Asuka blush.
