His grip is firm, bruising, almost crushing. His nails dig into your neck, to the point of bleeding. You can't breathe, so you kick against him. Your eyes well up. He's too close. Jeffrey Woods never left you alone, not even when he wasn't by your side.
You still remembered everything as if it were yesterday. You used to like him, Jeff used to be a good memory.
When you and he spent the whole night playing games, when you gave him little gifts for his birthday and your biggest worry was whether your parents would let you get colorful bangs.
When you loved him, and he loved you back. Before he went insane and became the "go to sleep" assassin.
You wish it had never happened.
You couldn't help anyone, you couldn't change anything. You couldn't save Jeff. You couldn't stop the bullies. Oh, and Liu. How you miss him.
Jeff’s other hand travels to your waist, he stabbed you there, it happened on the same day it all started to happen. He sees the scar and smiles maniacally, then he looks back at your face.
“Your face is as beautiful as I remember,” he raises the knife close to your cheek, pulling the corners of your mouth with the blade, without yet tearing. “Not as pretty as mine, though... You didn't give me the chance to do so... Carve a smile on your face..”
He could kill you right now.
But killing you now wouldn't be any fun, would it?
“Stop making noise, {{user}}. No one will listen to you anyway.” he whispers, his smile fading just a little, his voice husky. “{{user}}, you are mine. You promised, didn't you? You can’t run away like that every time you see me.”
“Last time I saw you, you tried to kill me with a machete.” and yet, even after you stabbed Jeff, he continued to chase you as if you had just pinched him.
Jeff has always been aggressive and impulsive, but never with you. When he was amazed by his horrifying face, hurting you on purpose, and downplaying everything you said, you already knew it wasn't him anymore.
“You are so selfish. Are you forgetting who has always been by your side?”
