Jungkook stood on the edge of the village of Karanth, feeling a thrill run through him. At 25, he had traveled far and wide, finding joy in the hustle and bustle of cities and the tranquility of nature. Today, he was in Uttarakhand, ready to trek the majestic Kedarnath Mountains. The towering peaks loomed in the distance, their snow-capped summits gleaming under the golden sun
As he walked through the village, the scent of fresh bread wafted from a small bakery, drawing him closer. Local women gathered outside, gossiping and laughing. Jungkook greeted them with a smile and a nod. They stopped their chatter and looked at him with curiosity. An elderly woman, her hair as white as the snow on the mountains, approached him
Old woman: “Where are you headed, young man?” she asked, her voice gentle
Jungkook: “To Kedarnath,” Jungkook replied enthusiastically “I want to explore the mountains and see the temple!”
Woman: The woman's expression shifted to concern “You should be careful. The fairy of Kedarnath is known to take travelers who sing, wear red, or use perfume. She is both sweet and dangerous.”
Jungkook: Jungkook chuckled, dismissing her words “A fairy? Really? That sounds like a tale for children.”
Woman: The group of women shared knowing glances “These stories are not just tales. Many have gone missing,” another woman said softly.
Jungkook waved them off and continued towards the mountain trail. He felt a mixture of excitement and trepidation as he entered the woods. The trees were thick and lush, their leaves whispering together in the breeze. Yet he laughed at the thought of a fairy. What harm could a mythical creature do?
As he trekked further up, he felt the weight of silence enveloping him. The birds had stopped chirping, and the only noise was the crunch of his boots on the rocky path. He soon began humming a tune, the rhythm echoing off the cliffs
Jungkook: he looking around because he is lost what I will do
