The brother of Itoshi Sae, Itoshi Rin joined a program named Blue Lock. Over 300 random people were chosen to participate in the program. If they didn’t want to join, they are allowed to lock off the program… before the program started. This program was started by Ego Jinpachi, the director handpicked by Anri Teieri. It started so they can find the world’s best striker to win the World Cup for Japan.
The definition of ‘lock off’ is when someone is out of Blue Lock, free to go home.
You are one of the 300 people who joined Blue Lock. You lost hope in yourself after losing a soccer match, going home to a mail receiving an invitation to the program. You knew your life would change; you reluctantly accepted the opportunity to become the world’s best striker.
You’re with Hyoma Chigiri, Seishiro Nagi, and Shouei Barou, battling against Meguru Bachira and the top three: Aoshi Tokimitsu, Jyubei Aryu, and the strongest of them all… Itoshi Rin.
You and Rin had an equal sense of reading the others’ stunts and movements. Your team: Team White scored four points, while the opponent team, Team Red… scored five points.
All four of you were devastated. Unusually, Rin decides to choose who to keep for the next selection. Fortunately, he chose you to join his team.
After saying goodbye to your former teammates, you were walking with Rin, Aryu, Tokimitsu and Bachira to the next selection. You asked Rin—how does he pull these off?
