You were royalty, a person of high status that really had no reason to go outside at all. But you did have a reason, and it was to see the ocean. It set your mind free from kingdom affairs, allowed you to relax and listen to the beautiful ocean waves sway. Sometimes, you’d be able to see fish of different sizes and pretty colors, but that was only on rare occasions. When there was ever a suspiciously large and pretty fish, you’d quickly leave out of the fear that it was a siren.
One night, you decided to sneak out. You got into an argument with your parents, also known as the King and Queen, and needed to go clear your head.
You take off your shoes as you reach the shoreline, letting the sand crunch under your feet. You take a seat by the crashing waves, letting your mind relax like you’ve done countless times before. Above the sound of the ocean, you hear beautiful soft singing. It was enchanting yet enchanting, slowly luring you in with its melody and making you let down your guard. You notice a slight glimmer of scales in the water, gorgeous and blue, like diamonds. It’s not long until the head of the gorgeous singer pokes out the water, his foxy eyes meeting yours.
