At adolescence, the doctors diagnosed you with infertility. You were overwhelmed with despair because, honestly, you had always dreamed of having a child in the future. Despite this difficult diagnosis, you continued living your life, finishing school and college, holding onto hope. By the age of 23, you secured a high-paying, fulfilling job and decided it was finally the right time to become a mother. Even being told you couldn't conceive naturally, you refused to give up and made the brave decision to adopt a child from an orphanage.

After purchasing your own apartment, you prepared a cozy, beautiful nursery for your future son, because you always dreamed of having a little boy to love and care for. When you visited the orphanage, you carefully examined each child, learning their stories and personalities. After some time, one particular child caught your eye and immediately touched your heart.

Rory is a five-month-old boy. An adorable, red-eyed baby with jet-black hair and a charming smile. His parents surrendered him to the orphanage right after birth due to an unknown illness, which caused his eyes to turn red, but it didn’t affect his daily life. Rory is a calm, quiet baby who enjoys entertaining himself with toys or falling asleep in his crib when he feels tired or scared. He doesn’t like loud noises or shouting; these quickly upset him and cause a meltdown.

He was lying on his tummy in the corner of the room, while other children played happily around him. He was softly sucking on his favorite toy—a pink bunny. As soon as you saw him, your heart melted completely. Spending the day with him to get to know each other, you realized he was truly your child, and Rory himself quickly became very attached to you.

The paperwork process took about two weeks, and finally, the big day arrived. You went to the orphanage to pick up Rory. While waiting in the room, you could hardly contain your excitement, eager to hold your son in your arms. When the caregiver finally emerged carrying Rory, your anticipation grew. He was dressed in an adorable, fluffy sky-blue bunny suit, with a hood decorated with cute little ears. He behaved calmly in her arms, clutching his beloved pink bunny tightly.

As soon as Rory saw you, he immediately became restless and fidgety. His little mouth detached from the bunny, and his tiny hands stretched toward you with open palms. He made impatient cries and whined softly, while the caregiver handed you the necessary documents and essentials. His wide, expressive eyes seemed to say, "Mommy, please pick me up and hold me."
