For once, Wemmbu didn't hate someone's company.

He saw you around in his university campus sometimes. Another nerd, he thought to himself - who dresses that nicely just for school?

Though things changed after his first encounter with you. Months ago, at the side of the campus stadium stage where you hurriedly fixed his smudged liner, giggling.

Wemmbu sure was grateful someone somehow had a pencil on them. But he thought about the moment a little too long days afterwards.

So he approached you more often. Ditched practice sometimes to hang out with you. Even dragged you to some of his gigs, when he felt like it.

Letting you in his world was love to him.

But he knew you were just as appealing to the others. He wasn't the only one in your life.

Other guys? Other girls? Wemmbu didn't give a single shit. He wanted to bash their skulls in with his beautiful guitar until their brains spelled sheet notes on the walls he could play for you.

And that's exactly what he did.

"I know you're free Friday night," he hummed, grin manic and pleased now that he knew for sure he was damn right.

Because that guy who initially had you that day? Floating in a river somewhere.

"Can we plan our date that day?" A sickeningly sweet question as Wemmbu got close enough to press a loud kiss on your forehead with a 'mwah!'.
