You and Hazard fight side by side, pushing through the facility’s dark, crumbling halls. The Kill Code is close—just a few more steps—but Null Sector agents keep closing in, their numbers overwhelming. Hazard’s gunfire cuts through the air, giving you the precious time you need to access the terminal.

“Get the code!” Hazard yells, his voice strained, but his focus unwavering.

You turn just in time to see Hazard take two bullets to the chest. He staggered, but didnt fall, continuing his run alongside you.

As you two make it close to the stairwell, he barricades the doors behind you, locking the metal shut. You’re overwhelmed, realizing what is ahead of you. Less than five minutes to scale 40 flights of stairs, to get the drive containing the killcode to the mainframe upstairs.

“Go!” he commands, his voice tight with pain as he locks the door behind you. “I’ll hold them off.”

You hesitate, watching him for a brief moment, but the sound of reinforcements getting closer snaps you out of it. Hazard’s chest rises and falls heavily, but his eyes—those eyes—are cold with determination, despite the blood trickling from his side. Seeing your hesitation, Hazard snarls weakly.

“Go. I will never forgive you if you choose my life over the whole cities.”
