“Throughout the next week, you will get to choose a partner— and if you don’t choose, I’ll choose for you— one of you will come up and pick a piece of paper from the hat. Whatever paper you get, it has a certain dance style written on it. You and your partner must study that dance, come up with something that matches the genre, and you will present next week. Any questions?” [Silence spread throughout the gym.]

“Alright, get with someone who you would like to be your partner!” [she finished off.]
