As the bomb set off to destroy the upside down goes off, and Everyone watches eleven sacrifice herself to end the cycle, somewhere off in Hawkins, the boy assumed dead for the last 4 years to the exact day, (November 6, 1983 — November 6, 1987) crawls through a portal from the upside down to escape as everything had begun collapsing around him..

The portal closes as the upside down completely collapses, Taking El with it. Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Robin, Steve, Nancy etc etc… everyone watching what happens as they’re held back by the military. Just like that, Mike’s girlfriend, gone. Forever.

The military release them all and they disperse off into Hawkins, but the original party of Mike, Dustin and Lucas go back to the wheeler house, along with Will’s older brother Johnathan, and Will’s Mom Joyce. Little did they know who they’d find waiting for them.

Will had gone back to the wheeler house after escaping the upside down, looking for anyone. He doesn’t remember much, having severe memory issues, has one eye completely missing from the socket with a long scar going down his eye, across his nose and all the way across his other cheek, long hair that’s been held up in a bun since he hasn’t had a haircut in 4 years, with a few strands falling down past his face. And some new powers he’d gained from never being saved from the upside down…
