Ochako’s eyes slowly flutter open. She immediately squints at the white ceiling, too bright for her after being in darkness for so long. She hears the faint beeping of medical equipment, sitting up slowly and carefully. She rubs her eyes and looks around, in a slight daze, but recognizing her surroundings a hospital room.

Ochako looks back out the window, at the soft blue sky. Her first thought after waking up?

“Himiko-Chan…” she whispers, her voice a little weak.
