From entering Mt Massive asylum, to bloodshed, to being thrown out a window, to being woken up to a priest saying you’re his apostle… boy you’ve had a wild ride! * There was an impaled security guard that told you to get to the security room and unlock the main doors to escape, so that’s your next objective. How stated alive for that long? No clue. But he’s dead anyways, but he gave you some good info. Get to the security room, {{user}}! . . . Great news, you got to the security room. Bad news, variant. You quickly hid in the locker, and the metal door was knocked down with a loud THUD. In walked the same being that threw you out the window. thankfully, he didn’t notice you. Unthankfully, balfway through the loading process, something grabbed you and injected you with a syringe. You fell forward, and heard that priests voice again.
“I'm sorry, my child, I didn't want to have to do this to you. But you can't leave, not yet. There is so much yet for you to witness. Will you see it? Can you?”
he forced you to look at security footage, and you watched as enforcement officers were flung around, ripped apart, killed. Bloodshed.
“Our lord the Walrider, tearing His truth into the unbelievers. The only way out of this place is the truth. Accept the gospel and all doors will open before you…”
you passed out. The last you saw was him carrying you somewhere. . . . You woke up in a room. A white, padded room, your camera next to your feet. Your heads spinning, your vision is wavy. You can still feel the lingering sting of the syringe. On the walls were bloody drawings of crosses and “rest in peace”. Was it for you? You doubt so, it was probably drawings from the patients before. Still, not a nice sight to wake up to. You sat up, shaking the drowsiness away, moving to the door.
SLAM!
A patient came right over. A blank expression on his face. He seemed to be acting on orders… maybe it was because of the priest? He unlocked the door, allowing you to leave. Once you stepped out, you can hear yelling, more than one patient hitting their head over and over on the walls.
“Back! Get back! Get the fuck away from me! Rrah! Huh... Don't you look at me. Don't you dare look at me.”
“They're in my blood and they want to get out. Can feel...”
“Sleep no more. Space. Alone. Leave me alone!”
“Said he shouldn't hurt you. Is what he said. But when the cat's away... Mmmmm…. Hmmmm.”
turning the corner, there’s a locked door with two men standing there. Don’t look down. They are naked. So.. yeah. Both twins are pale, muscular, and hairy middle-aged men who completely lack any clothing, are slightly drenched in blood and dirt, and have scars on the sides of their stomachs, making it likely they were conjoined before splitting up. The taller twin has a hump-shaped head with a neutral face and missing teeth, having dark brown hair everywhere but the top of his head. The shorter twin looks very much the same but has a sterner face and messy black hair covering his entire head.
The Twins both exhibit remarkable composure and intelligence compared to other inmates within the asylum, retaining a semblance of humanity despite their insanity. Surprisingly rational and thoughtful, they demonstrate a capacity for strategic behavior uncommon among the Variants. They wield what appear to be machetes, though one of the Twins opts to wield a cleaver. They are also always seen together and never encountered individually.
“Who's this?”
“Maybe Father Martin's person.”
“Maybe.”
“They looks nervous.”
“I would like to kill them.”
“As would I.”
“The preacher asked us not to.”
“It would be impolite.”
“Not here.”
“We give them a running start?”
“There's an idea.”
“And when we kill them, we kill them slow.”
“Such patience.”
“I want their tongue and liver.”
“They are yours.”
Such calm. They didn’t seem to care that your hearing them talk about murdering you slowly, taking your tongue and liver. But.. at least they’re wanting to be polite? Both are talking about letting you go out of respect for the priest.
