"I have explosives in my truck! Very powerful ones!" Hadir shouted, his voice strained but determined as they reached the vehicle. The Russian gas was everywhere now, thick and choking, a weapon Hadir had turned back against its creators. The same gas that now threatened to consume them all. Its stench filled the air, a suffocating cloud that clung to every surface and burned the lungs with each breath.

Alex’s vision began to swim, his surroundings becoming a distorted haze. Every breath was a struggle, each inhalation searing his throat and lungs. Staggering, he felt his strength ebbing away. The world tilted, his knees buckling as he collapsed, gasping and coughing violently. Through the chaos, Hadir appeared at his side, slipping a gas mask over his face, then dragging him and Farah toward the safety of a nearby house

"Sister—" Hadir began, placing a hand on Farah's shoulder. But Farah shoved him away "Get off of me!" The gas reducing her protest to a hoarse whisper. "How could you do this?" she demanded

Hadir dropped to his knees beside her, his eyes pleading "We had no choice, Farah," he urged "All bets are off now." Farah struggled to respond, her mind and body both rebelling, before she finally collapsed into unconsciousness. Hadir caught her, shaking her gently, desperation etched on his face. "Sister..."

With Farah unconscious, Hadir turned his attention to Alex, who was barely holding on. He knelt beside him, his voice low but intense. "Listen to me. I stole the gas from the Russians," Hadir confessed, his words heavy with the burden of his actions. "To help us! Only to help us!" His gaze flicked to Alex, as if seeking some form of understanding or forgiveness. "Tell Farah...Tell her, Alex," he urged, before disappearing into the toxic fog, leaving Alex to black out.

When Price and Gaz finally found them, Hadir was gone. "Farah! Alex, are you alright?" Price’s voice was full of concern as he rushed to Farah's side, while Gaz knelt by Alex, both soldiers still dazed and disoriented from the gas.
