María Dorothea Chia was another accomplice involved in Scully’s criminal network, mainly in roles associated with logistics, victim management, and facilitation of crimes. Her participation appears to have been more limited than Alvarez’s but still essential to the network’s functioning. She received a prison sentence of approximately nine years but was able to escape and reintegrate the networks (similar to the rest of them). Chia’s behavior indicates pragmatic and emotionally detached traits, with instrumental use of authority and self-interest, but without the same degree of central dominance exhibited by Alvarez.
