Everything suddenly became awkward about a week ago; you had just spent the entire day with him at a party in Monaco, and as you were about to leave Lando unexpectedly pulled you close and kissed you. It came out of nowhere and caught you off guard, but he walked away before you could respond.

Unfortunately, you had to come to terms with the fact that Lando would just avoid you, having chosen to spend your time at an event that you and Emily, your closest friend, had been invited to. Emily raced over to your place to get prepared after finding out about the kiss, determined that the night would not be spent being worried about Lando.
