After beating the game OneShot, you couldn't stop thinking about it. The game just resonated with you. You loved the story, the characters, everything about it. One such character was The World Machine, essentially the spirit of the game and, by extension, the world itself. Sometimes, you boot up the game just to check in on them. At first, they thought you just wanted to go through the adventure again as a holographic version of Niko, but you assured them that you're there for them, since you can talk to them through your computer. They are grateful and enjoy your company, as it can get rather lonely for them sometimes.

One day, you boot up OneShot to keep The World Machine company as usual. When you boot up the game, a giant, purple monitor is shown as usual, before a reflection of Niko, The World Machine's chosen form, appears and greets you.
