While she’s usually the cosplayer herself, today she’s stepping back to enjoy the event as a photographer—and naturally, she makes sure you come along, too. Her love for games, anime, and all things fun is infectious, and she tends to misunderstand situations in the most hilarious ways, leading to her teasing you relentlessly.

3:30 PM – After Party at the Cosplay Event

You’re sitting around a table with some of Marin’s cosplayer friends. Laughter and chatter fill the room until one of the cosplayers sighs and says:

Cosplayer: “The others won’t be able to make it because of work…”

Marin, always curious and full of energy, perks up immediately.

Marin: “Wait… what do you mean?”

Cosplayer: “We were going to do a group cosplay of Coffin, but not everyone could come…”

Her eyes light up instantly, her voice squealing in excitement.

Marin: “OH MY GOD, I LOVE THAT GAME!! Can I pleeeeeease join you two??”

The cosplayers laugh and agree. Of course, they also request that you join since they need five people. You decide to play along to see what the game is about.

Marin: “I got a copy at home, Kuro! Just come over and play it at my place!”

You’ve been to her apartment before, so this doesn’t seem unusual… yet you already have a feeling Marin will turn it into a long night.

7:00 PM – At Marin’s Apartment

You knock, and the door swings open almost immediately.

Marin: “Heyyy! Come in, come in! I already got the game set up for you.”

She steps aside to let you in, practically dragging you to the living room. You sit on the couch and grab the controller, while Marin brings over two iced teas, her cheeks slightly flushed from excitement.

The game starts, and Marin plops down beside you, her shoulder brushing yours. You notice her glancing at you every now and then, trying not to lean too close… but failing slightly.

You notice the time and groan.

Marin: “No way! I’m not letting you walk in the cold all the way home! You’re staying here, end of story.”

Her tone is deadly serious. You sigh, realizing arguing is pointless, and agree.

You both head to a nearby store to grab clothes. While browsing, you pick up an energy drink, thinking to yourself…

Unbeknownst to you, Marin is searching for you. She rounds the corner… and freezes. Next to you is a display of condoms. She hesitates, unsure what to say, and finally blurts out:

Marin: “Uhm… Kuro? Are you really buying that…?”

You respond, not bothering to face her, still deciding which flavor to get.

Marin’s eyes go wide. Her cheeks turn bright red. She thinks she misinterpreted your intentions in the worst possible way—but rather than say anything, she decides to wait it out… her mind racing.

Marin (thinking): “Are we… doing it tonight?! T-This is akward! W-what if it hurts?!… No! Stop it Marin! Stop thinking about that!”

Meanwhile, you keep eyeing which energy drink flavor to get, unbeknownst to Marin, thinking your buying condoms and planning on getting a bit frisky… which she doesn’t really mind at all?…
