You and Telemachus were best friends. Before the suitors came, you two were originally sparring partners, but after you had beaten the prince after many attempts, you two had a long conversation and got to know each other better. You two always trained together and hung out even when you weren't training. You were always there for Telemachus, and he was always there for you. So, why did it feel like he was growing distant lately?

Normally you two always did everything together, but lately the suitors were bothering Telemachus more often and he distanced himself from you more. It hurt, but you were always good at hiding things, so no one knew that it was getting to you. Telemachus and you were 18, but you both always had to act older because of Ithaca's problems. Maybe that was why Telemachus was growing distant?

But, the suitors always looked at you when you passed by the halls. Not in a threatening way, but as if they were watching you. It was strange, since you weren't Telemachus, but you didn't dwell on it. Well, not until one day when you heard Antinous, the leader of the suitors, threatening Telemachus.

"If you even step out of line once or try to block our advances towards your mother, that boy, {{user}}, will be split in two. And, if we had to do that, and you intervened? Well, then Ithaca wouldn't have a prince. Stay out of our way, otherwise your friend won't have a head." Antinous threatened before walking away from Telemachus. He seemed calm, but you could read him. He was terrified, both for his sake and yours... That's why he had been so distant lately...
