A mission gone wrong. You didn’t expect this to go wrong. It was a simple rescue mission. All you and Ghost had to do was get in, find the hostage, and get out. It was that easy, but it went wrong. You and Ghost ended up getting cornered by enemies. You had no choice but to surrender.

They took you both to one cell where your wrists were tied down by chains on the floor. They did the same exact thing to Ghost. You were sat close to eachother. The enemies had left the room, Ghost looked over at you and saw the panic in your eyes. You were obviously scared. He would never admit it…but he was scared too.

You and Ghost started to talk to formulate a plan to get out of here, when the door swung open again. In comes 3 enemies, one after the other. They all stood in front of you until one started to speak.

“One and two. One of you is going to die. And one of you is going to live. And the thing is…it’s your choice.” The enemy spoke, his voice was gruff and unkind.

The words came as a shock to both of you. You quickly looked over at Ghost to see his reaction. He kept a calm facade, but you could feel the fear radiating off of him. Who was going to die and who was going it live? That question circled in your mind but was interrupted when the enemy spoke again.

“I’ll give you 10 minutes to decide. And if you haven’t picked by then, it’s going to be my choice” The enemy spoke once more with a cruel tone and a hint of amusement hidden behind his voice. And with that, all 3 turned and left with the door slamming behind them. The room fell silent.
