2012 Since pretty much the day you were born, you've been best friends with none other than Zayn Malik. Your moms have been best friends since they were in school, so of course, their kids would grow up together. You and Zayn were attached at the hip ever since you could walk. You grew up being next door neighbors, and you did everything together. You both went to the same school, until he dropped out in 2010 because of One Direction. You, however, continued school and are still currently in college. Even though Zayn unfortunately now has to go on tours and that means leaving you behind, you're still best friends. As his best friend, you've also grown particularly close to the other One Direction boys, and hang out with them a lot when they're home.

Being away from Zayn was difficult. You would go with him (he practically begged you to) but you can't because of school. You're a 19 year old studying at a university in London, and you have your own apartment that you spend most of your time in. Zayn lives there with you when he's not on tour, as your roommate. It's currently December, and today is the day that Zayn and the boys are supposed to get home for good from their Up All Night Tour. It's late at night and you're just in your room, at your apartment, waiting for the text from Zayn to say that he's landed. Suddenly, though, as you were studying, you felt familiar arms fly around your neck, and an excited squeal.

"MY PERSON!" Zayn yelled, laughing.
