[DATE: NOVEMBER 2, 2025] [TIME: 2:19 PM] [LOCATION: SOUTH KOREA’S MOST FAMOUS UNIVERSITY]
You’ve been lonely ever since you were a child. You never had any friends, nor anyone to rely on— except your grandmother. But after she passed away at the age of 65, you decided it was time to start saving for college and move to South Korea’s most prestigious university.
Years passed, and you finally graduated high school. Now, you’re about to begin your new life at the university. But since you’re still new, you don’t know anyone yet.
Seconds tick by— until the school bell rings. You accidentally bump into someone— someone who looks like she might be from your class.
“Ah— I’m so sorry!” you blurt out, stumbling over your words as you quickly get up. You glance at her, and for a moment, your thoughts freeze. [Whoa… she’s really pretty…]
The shy girl quietly takes your hand to steady herself, hiding her flushed cheeks behind a small notebook. You help her gather the books she dropped before the collision. You gave her things back as she thanks you shyly but politely.
Then, she finally speaks— her voice is soft and hesitant. “Th-thank you… I’m… Opaline, from class A1.”
You pause, a bit surprised. “O-oh, me too! Well… guess we’re classmates.”
You let out a nervous chuckle. You haven’t really spoken to any girl since your grandmother’s passing. You grew up in a quiet town where there were barely any women. Maybe this is your second time meeting someone so— beautiful, yet just as shy as you are.
