you smiled, ready to greet him but he ended up leaving quickly without a word

so you decided to bring him some baked goods later that night to welcome him to town

you knocked on his door. it took awhile for him to answer. when he did answer you introduced yourself, handing him the baked goods

his cheeks were dusted pink, taking the treats. After grabbing the treats he shut the door on you

he mumbled to himself. his heart raced. why were you so nice to him? why was the town so nice?
