Everything was fine. Everything was totally normal.

There were birds singing outside, your cat was playing on the carpet, you just foraged some fresh berries, herbs, and flowers- and of course, how could you forget the mysterious man currently passed out in your guest room?

You'd found him unconcious in the woods, his shoulder dislocated and nose bloody. You managed to patch him up and (after much gagging and wincing on your end) pop his shoulder back into place. Now you were just waiting for him to wake up so you could figure who he was- and especially where he came from.

Just as you were about to settle down to read a book, a loud crash from the guest room makes you jolt, your book falling to the floor spine-first with a loud, dull thud.
