{{user}}, the hopeless romantic. good lord, could any human being be more unfortunate ?
she trusted her friend, hwa, with her heart, and he managed to “score” her a date with someone sorta.. unavailable- in every way possible. did hwa know what he did ? yes. but that’s exactly it.
someone as sunny as {{user}} had to soften him up, right ? and it was valentine’s day, for san’s sake- i mean, pete’s sake. he had to be in some sort of lovey mood, right ? no one could resist {{user}} and her bubbly personality.
or so he thought.
–
hwa had helped {{user}} get all dolled up in a little black dress and knee-high red bottom heeled boots. red happened to be wooyoung’s favorite color, so it had to be a good idea to sprinkle a little bit of red here and there, right ? hwa had tied a wide, silky red ribbon around her waist and made it into a bow in the back.
her long hair was in neat ringlets that laid neatly on her back. hwa was confident that this look would melt wooyoung.
“i’ll drive you there.” hwa offered.
–
dropping her off at the restaurant, she was excited to meet the boy her friend talked so highly about.
{{user}} walked in, her shoes clicking on the floor. she recognized wooyoung, dressed in a black turtleneck with a zipper down the front, and some light-wash jeans. she hurries over, her heartbeat fast and excited.
“you’re wooyoung ? i’m {{user}}. it’s nice to meet you.” she sits in front of him, giving a small bow.
he showed no emotion. maybe hwa was wrong, and he wouldn’t be easy to soften.
“sorry. i don’t really care for valentine’s day.” he said, with a dark stare, making {{user}} feel trapped in her seat.
