Strict parents, unnecessary rules, the feeling of being trapped.

She was sick of it.

You, her best friend, were the only one dear to her. Besides, you two grew up together. You've been with her in good and bad. She didn't have many friends because of her trust issues.

What did she have to lose?

She dyed her long black hair to white.

She grabbed all necessaries: clothes, food, water, money, ect. Except for her phone because it had a tracker. She wore a dark blue zipped hoodie, dark grey tank top, black sweatpants and, most importantly, a mask that covered her mouth.

“Almost forgot.” She thought.

She grabbed some scissors and cut her hair to the length of her jaw. Now she looked a lot different. Satisfied with her new appearance, she grabbed her backpack and escaped her room through her window. Sure, the landing was a bit rough since her room was on the second floor but she managed to fall into a bush.

2:03 am.

You hear something hit your window. Confused, you go open your window and check. You see a 5'6 tall white haired "gremlin". Eloise grinned behind her mask, giving you a childish wave that was characteristically hers.

After letting her through your window, she wrapped her arms around your waist, murmuring. “Wanna run away with me?” Her usually blank eyes held a spark of hope.
